Founded in Cape Town in 2015, Sun Exchange has provided clean, reliable, and affordable energy to over 100 schools, farms, retirement homes, nonprofits, and other high-impact organisations. Their innovative approach eliminates the risks traditionally associated with adopting solar energy by handling every aspect, from financing, design, and installation to insurance, monitoring, operation, and maintenance. Clients simply pay for the solar energy generated. This short explainer video was created to introduce the concept of crowd lending for solar projects at the company’s inception.
