Streetscapes, a Cape Town-based non-profit organisation, is dedicated to ending chronic homelessness by fostering better lives. They provide job opportunities to individuals seeking a hand up rather than a handout and collaborate with local communities, the City of Cape Town, and other stakeholders to bring this vision to life. Working directly with those living on the streets, they offer a transformative rehabilitation program that includes work opportunities, community connection, harm reduction, psychosocial support, and shelter. Their client-focused approach is guided by a committed team of psychosocial workers, who help clients transition off the streets and into stable homes through a work-first framework. This video was commissioned to highlight their rehabilitation process and showcase the successes they’ve achieved so far.
